The Mid-Central Conference (MCC)
announced its awards for the 2004-05 season and Huntington College
sophomore, Alex Kock, became the fourth Forester to receive Player
of the Year honors. As a transfer, Kock also earned the Newcomer of
the Year award. Joining Kock on the All-Conference First Team is
Eric Walsh (Goshen), Eric Ford (Taylor), Micah Lancaster (Spring
Arbor), and Kyle Sears (Bethel). HC’s sophomore Kyle Ganton was a
Second Team selection, freshman Doug Sheckler was a Third Team pick,
and Steve Snider and Chase Verba were both Honorable Mention.
Goshen’s coach, Stan Daugherty was named the MCC Coach of the Year.
