02.05.05 - The NAIA 9th-ranked Huntington College Foresters avenged an earlier loss with a 75-69 win over the Marian College Knights.  Both teams battled hard in the opening period that saw three lead changes and four ties with neither team able to build more than a five point advantage.  A layup by Steve Snider with 16 seconds left in the half gave HC a 32-30 lead at the break.  The Foresters gradually built a nine-point lead at 57-48 with 7:13 to play, but the Knights stormed back to take a 66-65 lead with just over two minutes to play.   HC scored the next four points to go up 69-66, but Marian's Chris Adkins knocked down a trey to tie it at 69 apiece with :56 on the clock.  On the Foresters' next possession, Seth Lochmueller dished to Alex Kock for a jumper to give HC a two-point lead, and then grabbed Jordan Dever's missed 3-point attempt.  The Knights fouled Lochmueller who hit both from the stripe and Kyle Ganton finished off the Knights with two more free throws following a Kock steal with ten seconds to play.  Kock took top scoring honors with his 20 point in the game.  Ganton added 12 and Jared Yoder finished with 10 off the bench.  Tim Adams and Dever each had 18 to lead the Knights.  The Foresters improve to 18-8 on the season with the win and are 10-3 in the MCC.
