Huntington College
senior point guard Adam Bontreger concluded his basketball career
with his selection as an NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete. It marks
the second year in a row that he received the academic honor. All
such honorees are either a junior or senior academically, carry
above a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, and excel on the
basketball court. Bontreger, an English Education major from Tokeka,
Indiana (Westview High School) excelled in the classroom by earning
Dean's List Honors in four of his five semesters to date at
Huntington College. For the Forester basketball program this
season, he
started in 31 of the Foresters' 33 games, led the team in assists
with 112 and added 3.4 points per game.
