06.06.05 - The Huntington
University men’s basketball team will offer its 2005 Forester
Basketball Camp on July 4-8 and July 11-15, 2005, at the Merillat
Complex for Physical Education and Recreation. Camp Director Steve
Platt, head coach at Huntington University, Assistant Director Ty
Platt, associate coach at Huntington University, and Forester
players will lead the camp for both boys and girls entering grades
K-10 next fall.
Camp benefits
include a professional staff of college players, individual
instruction, an emphasis on fundamentals, player evaluation, daily
games and contests, a Christian atmosphere, a camp T-shirt, and HU
Basketball prizes.
Campers in grades
K-4 will meet from 1:30-3:00 p.m. Grades 5-7 will meet from 10:30
a.m.-12:30 p.m., and grades 8-10 will meet from 8:00-10:00 a.m.
Campers are invited to attend for one or both weeks. Times are the
same for both weeks. Campers can register online by visiting
Forester Basketball Camp.
The cost for grades
K-4 is $75 or $135 for both weeks. For grades 5-10, the cost is $85
or $155 for both weeks. Checks can be made payable to Huntington
University Men’s Basketball Camp and mailed to the Men’s Basketball
Office, c/o Steve Platt at Huntington University, 2303 College
Avenue, Huntington, IN 46750. A confirmation letter will be sent
upon receipt of check.
