12.10.05 - The NAIA 7th-ranked Foresters (11-3) scored the first four points of the game and never trailed as they cruised past the Fighting Saints of St. Francis (4-6) 93-81.  HU pushed it to a 16-point advantage midway through the first half, but the Fighting Saints stormed back to within two at 41-39 at the break.

St. Francis kept it close in the early minutes of the second half until a trey by Kyle Ganton sandwiched by two Alex Kock layups gave HU a 52-43 lead with 16:48 on the clock.  Arvydas Astrauskas broke the string with a jumper for the Fighting Saints, but the Foresters ran off another nine consecutive points to push the lead back to 16 at 61-45 with 14:33 to play.  HU then put it on cruise control and maintained its double digit lead the rest of the way.

Five Foresters scored in double figures with Ganton dropping in 23 to lead the team. Kock added 21, Steve Snider finished with 14, Chase Verba had 12 and Ty Riddle contributed 11 off the bench.  Ganton and Verba each pulled down nine boards to earn game-high honors.  Astrauskas paced the Fighting Saints with 23 points and seven rebounds.
