01.25.06 - Huntington University junior, Alex Kock, from Auburn, Indiana (DeKalb High School), was named the Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Player of the Week for the week ending January 22, 2006. 

Kock came up big in both of Huntington’s wins during the week.  In Tuesday’s re-match with NAIA Division I Georgetown College, Kock knocked down a season-high 33 points to help lift the Foresters to the 78-74 win.  He went 12-20 from the field, including 3-7 from behind the arc, and 6-7 from the line.  On Saturday at Indiana Wesleyan, Kock netted a game-high 18 points and added eight boards in Huntington’s 68-58 victory.  Kock is currently averaging a team-high 21.2 points and 8.0 rebounds per game for the Foresters.
