01.31.06 - Huntington University junior, Alex Kock, from Auburn, Indiana (DeKalb High School), was named the Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Player of the Week for the second straight week. 

Kock averaged 25 points and 12.5 rebounds per game as the team went 2-0 on the week.  He had 22 points, four assists and a career-high 18 rebounds as NAIA DII #2 Huntington defeated NAIA DII #7 Taylor 71-60 on Saturday afternoon.  He also was a perfect 7-7 at the free throw line.  In Tuesday’s 65-62 win over St. Francis, he poured in a game-high 28 points on 10-17 shooting and added seven rebounds.   Kock is currently leading the MCC in scoring with his 21.5 average and is third in rebounding at 8.42 boards per game.
