Foresters (7-1) made it seven wins in a row with an easy 90-65 win
over Indiana University South Bend (2-7).
HU came out strong and
took an early lead behind some hot shooting. They blistered the
nets hitting 19 of 29 shots for 66%, and cruised to a 48-32 half-time
advantage. The Foresters cooled off to 46% in the second stanza, but
were still able to add to their lead and earn the victory by a
25-point margin.
HU's
Kyle Ganton
led four Foresters in double figures with his 21 points. Alex
Kock chipped in 20 points, Kyle Benge came off the bench to add 17 and
Doug Sheckler finished with 14 points.
The Titans were led by
Dewey Brown with 17 points and Jeremy Herring added 15.
The Foresters
out-rebounded IU South Bend 30-21. Ganton and Kock both grabbed
six to lead HU. The Titans turned the ball over 15 times to 11
for the Foresters.
