12.16.06 - The NAIA Division I 11th-ranked Campbellsville University Tigers (12-1) used its home court advantage to knock off the NAIA Division II top-ranked Foresters (12-2) 74-69.  The Tigers, who took a 4-0 lead to open the game, were up 32-27 at the half and made the five-point margin stick at the final.

For the game, HU hit three more field goals than the Tigers (27-24), including two additional treys, but their usually adept free throw shooting didn't make the trip.  With Campbellsville going 20-36 from the charity stripe in the contest, the Foresters needed to make the most of their attempts, but they were a meager 7-13 for the game.  HU also committed an uncharacteristic 17 turnovers to just eight for the Tigers.

Campbellsville used a balanced scoring attack to earn the victory.  Zach Allender led the Tigers with 16 points and nine boards and Bubba Long finished with 13 points.  Six other players scored between five and nine points for the Tigers.

Alex Kock again led HU with a double-double effort in the game.  His 19 points and 12 rebounds were both game-highs.  Kyle Ganton chipped in 17 points and Jared Yoder added 15 points and six assists.
