11.20.06 - Huntington University Senior, Alex Kock was named the Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Player of the Week for the week ending November 12, 2006.

Kock, a Physical Education and Health major from Auburn, Indiana (DeKalb High School), averaged a double-double of 28 points and 12 rebounds to help lead Huntington to a 2-1 start on the season. Kock scored 26 points and grabbed 12 boards in a season opening loss to IPFW.  In the Foresters 94-88 win over Indiana Tech, he dropped in 29 points and had 13 rebounds and he finished with 29 points and 11 rebounds in Huntington’s 88-76 victory over St. Ambrose University.  The NAIA 2nd-ranked Foresters (5-1) will next take on Marian College in their MCC opener on Tuesday, November 21 at 7:00 p.m.
