12.05.06 - Huntington University Senior, Alex Kock was named the Mid-Central Conference (MCC) Player of the Week for the week ending December 3, 2006.

Kock, a Physical Education and Health major from Auburn, Indiana (DeKalb High School), recorded two more double-doubles during the week to help the NAIA 2nd-ranked Foresters run their winning streak to nine in a row.  Against the 20th-ranked St. Francis Cougars, Kock netted 24 points and grabbed 14 boards in the 96-91 win, and in the Foresters’ 93-85 victory over Bethel, he dropped in 29 points and had 11 rebounds.  Kock is currently leading the Mid-Central Conference in scoring with his 23.9 points per game and is second in rebounding 10.5 boards per game.

Huntington will return to action on Tuesday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m. when they travel to Upland to take on the Trojans of Taylor University.
