12.30.08 - The Foresters (12-4) used an 18-5 run over the final six minutes of the first half to take command of the game and defeated the University of Northwestern Ohio 92-75.

The Racers held a slim lead through the first five minutes of the game, but a Tyler Shively three put HU in front for good at 12-11.  UNOH kept the Foresters within striking distance for most of the period until HU took control over the final six minutes.  The Foresters turned a 32-30 lead at the 6:10 mark into a 50-33 advantage at the break.

The Racers fought back to a single digit deficit on two occasions early in the second half, but it was as close as they would get.  With HU up 79-67 at the 3:51 mark, the Foresters scored on six of their next seven possessions to seal the 17-point victory.

Kyle Benge topped all scorers in the game with 20 points for HU.  Joining Benge in double figures was Shively with 19, Kevin Kyle with 17 points and nine rebounds, Kellen Zawadzki with 16 points and Caleb Kennedy with 11 points and nine boards.  Isaac Bowers led UNOH with 17 points.  Josh Vorst finished with 14 and DeMarcus Jackson had 11.
