6.22.09 - Two Huntington University media guides recently received national honors from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics-Sports Information Directors Association (NAIA-SIDA) for the 2008-2009 season.  

For the sixth year in a row, a Forester media guide won best cover in the country with this year’s honors going to women’s basketball. The men’s guide placed ninth for content in the men’s basketball brochure division.  This is the eighth time in as many years that Huntington University has received national recognition in the NAIA-SIDA Publications Contest. 

Julie Babb, Assistant Director for Creative Services, designed both award-winning covers.  Lori Culler, Sports Information Director and Lynette Miller, Public Relations student assistant, along with Babb were responsible for the content, layout and design of both the men’s and women’s basketball guides.
