11.24.09 - Keeping their winning streak alive, the Foresters picked up the easy 97-69 win over the Cougars of Kuyper College.

After trading baskets to open the game, a Luke Smith put back gave the Foresters a lead they would never relinquish.  HU spent the rest of the half extending their lead, going up by as much as 28 points.  The Foresters headed into intermission with the 51-25 advantage.

Behind some solid shooting, the Cougars played even with the Foresters in the second half.  With every Forester seeing action and several dunks to highlight the evening, the Foresters cruised to the 97-69 victory.  Kevin Kyle led the Foresters with 23 points and 14 rebounds.  Bobby Jolliff came off the bench to record a double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds.  Smith finished with 16 points and Kellen Zawadzki and Tyler Shively each chipped in 12 points.  Leading all scorers was Derrick Brooks with 28 points.

The Foresters converted 25 offensive rebounds into 37 points.  They enjoyed a 58-35 advantage on the boards.   HU shot 44.0% from the field (37-84) while knocking down 76.0% of their charity tosses (19-25).
