#2 Kyle Ganton |
| 6'5/195lb/Forward |
Sophomore |
| Coldwater, MI |
Bronson High
School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Kyle, an extremely talented offensive player, had
a great freshman season. Certainly, we expect him to be vastly
improved in all areas, as he’s gotten stronger and more mature.
Kyle won’t be able to sneak up on anybody this year so he’ll
have to work even harder to stay constantly involved in our offense.
He should have a great second season. |

#3 James Haifley |
| 6'0/196lb/Guard |
Sophomore |
| Fort Wayne, IN |
Homestead High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Nobody works harder than James and as a result of
that he has improved as much as anyone on our team. James comes to
practice or games ready to give 110%- ALWAYS. His goal is to put
himself in a position where he can log important minutes and I
believe he’s done that. |

#5 Jared Yoder |
| 5'11/165lb/Guard |
Sophomore |
| Shipshewana, IN |
Westview High
School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Jared knows the game and will surprise people with his
improvement. I’m confident that Jared will provide quality play at
both guard positions. He waited through his freshman year with an
injury and is now healthy and eager to get into the guard rotation. |

#10 Trent Shively |
| 5'10/160lb/Guard |
Freshman |
| Columbia City, IN |
Columbia City High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Trent is a gutsy, hard-nosed player who is used
to winning. As he matures and gets stronger, we expect him to back
up our guards. Trent is a good open shooter and not afraid to take a
big shot. You will know when Trent is in the game. |
| |
 |
#11 Doug Sheckler |
| 6'6/205lb/Forward |
Freshman |
| Columbia City, IN |
Columbia City High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Doug is a multi-talented player who is able to
play inside or out. He has a great understanding of the TEAM game.
His athleticism, feel for the game, ability to score, and defensive
skill make him an important addition to this year’s team. We
expect Doug to have an outstanding career at HC. |

#21 Adam Bontreger |
| 6'0/175lb/Guard |
Senior |
| Topeka, IN |
Westview High
School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
From the point guard position, Adam is like a coach on the
floor. He really understands what needs to be done for the team.
He is a very good defender and is capable of making big shots. Adam
will be an important leader on the team this year. |

#23 Jason Rahn |
| 6'4/180lb/Guard |
Sophomore |
| Huntington, IN |
Huntington North High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
|
| |
 |
#30 Seth Lochmueller |
| 6'1/165lb/Guard |
Sophomore |
| Fort Wayne, IN |
Carroll High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
At either backcourt position, Seth will get the job done. He
can run the show from the point with great peripheral vision and is
a good decision maker. From the two-guard position he has the
ability to pull up and hit jumpers or take the ball to the hole.
Seth is always willing to sacrifice his body on the defensive end. |
| |
 |
#32 Chase Verba |
| 6'6/200lb/Forward |
Junior |
| Angola, IN |
Angola High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Chase is just a down to earth, extremely hard working,
talented basketball player. He will probably play some at all five
positions this year. Chase is a fierce competitor and leaves
everything on the floor every night. Already a two time
All-Conference player, Chase is never satisfied and continues to
improve his all-around game. |
| |
 |
#33 Steve Snider |
| 6'7/205lb/Forward |
Junior |
| Indianapolis, IN |
Hamilton Southeastern High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
Steve was much improved last year and he’s even
better this year. He continues to get stronger, more aggressive and
is even a more complete player daily. Steve is primed to be a
dominant player and a real force on both ends. |
| |
 |
#42 Alex Kock |
| 6'6/210lb/Forward |
Sophomore |
| Auburn, IN |
DeKalb High School |
| Coach Platt's Comments:
With one year of Division I play under his belt, Alex is more
than ready to step up and help lead this team. He is a great outside
shooter, can score in the paint, and has a lot of court smarts. Alex
will play several different areas on the floor for us and will
definitely make his mark at HC. |
