10.13.04 - For the third consecutive game, the Foresters found themselves in overtime and lost their sixth one-goal game of the season with their 2-1 defeat to Grace College.  Luke Caldwell put HC ahead with a strike off a feed from Joel Sanders in the 69th minute of play.  As time wound down, a win seemed within the Foresters' grasp, but the Lancers capitalized on a direct kick with 28 second left in regulation to force the overtime period.  Ten minutes into the extra frame, Grace stole the victory with an easy tap in off a scramble.  "This is a cruel game especially when we were so close to victory," said Coach Lawson.  "The guys are feeling down now, but in time should be pleased with taking this Grace team to OT without four starters for half the game."  The loss drops the men to 5-7-1 on the season and 1-4-1 in conference play.
