9.2.04 - In an evenly matched battle, it was the Indiana Tech Warriors that outlasted HC to get the 3-2 win in over-time.  The Foresters drew first blood when David Callahan took a pass from both Seth and Luke Caldwell and put it in the back of the net midway through the first half.  Indiana Tech tied it at one apiece 15 minutes into the second half and took the lead on a penalty kick in the 70th minute.  Five minutes later, HC got the equalizer on a corner kick.  Joel Sanders lofted it up and Luke Caldwell finished with a brilliant header to knot the score at 2-2.  Neither team could get the game-winner in regulation, but 13 minutes into the first over-time period, the Warriors connected on a cross from the wing to grab the win.  "The play was even most of the game," said Coach Lawson.  "Except for a couple of second half breakdowns with our defense, I think the guys played well."  Indiana Tech had 10 shots on goal to HC's nine and both keepers had seven saves.  The Loss drops the men to 1-2 on the season.
