02.11.05 - Huntington College men’s soccer coach, Russ Lawson, has announced that Cocalico High School senior Anthony Burkhart has signed a letter of intent to play soccer at Huntington College this fall. This past season Burkhart scored 2 goals while adding 11 assists during his senior campaign.

“We are very excited that Anthony will continue his career at Huntington,” says Lawson. “With his ability to distribute and read the game, we are expecting great things."

Burkhart played his club ball at F.C. Leeds United in Pennsylvania where he excelled in the midfield.  He gained valuable experience representing Leeds at the illustrious 2004 Snickers Cup in Indianapolis.

"Anthony will be entering Huntington as an honor student solidifying my belief that he is going to make a tremendous impact on our campus.”

Anthony is the son of Glenn and Sherri Burkhart from Stevens, Pennsylvania.
