05.26.05 - Huntington College men’s soccer coach Russ Lawson has announced that Wesley International School standout Tae Soo Kim has signed a letter of intent to play soccer for the Foresters this fall. This past season Tae Soo scored 13 goals leading his team to a very successful season.

“We are very excited that Tae Soo will continue his career at Huntington,” stated Lawson. “His tenacious play combined with his offensive ability will make for a smooth transition to the NAIA level.  As an honor student, he will make an impact in the classroom as well as on the field.”

Tae Soo played his club ball at Malang F.C. in Indonesia where he was counted on to put the ball in the back of the net. Tao Soo’s past play also includes a stint in a High School Futsal league where he averaged over a goal a game.

Tae Soo is the son of Jong Hyun and Gyo Sun Kim of Malang, Indonesia.
