10.12.05 - After battling to a scoreless tie at the half, the Goshen College Maple Leafs finally sent one home in the 61st minute and then added two more in the final 10 minutes of the match to secure the 3-0 win over the HU.  The shutout is the seventh of the season for the Foresters and drops them to 0-6 in the MCC and 2-12 overall.

The Maple Leafs, who are ranked #1 in the region, pressured HU the full 90 minutes generating 18 shots on goal to just six for the Foresters and four corner kicks to just one for HU.  "I was disappointed with our effort and composure the first 20 minutes of the match, but we regrouped, battled back and gave a better showing in the second half," said Coach Lawson.  "We can play better and must this Saturday against Grace if we want a shot at post season play."
