| 08.29.05 - The
Warriors of Indiana Tech spoiled the Foresters' home opener scoring
four goals in the second half to grab the 4-1 win. Both teams
generated a couple quality scoring opportunities in the first half,
but none found the mark as the period ended in a scoreless tie.
Indiana Tech got on the board first with an unassisted goal by Abdul
Sesay ten minutes into the second half. The Warriors added two more
goals before Andrew Hulfish set up Andrew Wust for HU's first goal in
the 86th minute. Tech regained the three goal advantage with a
score in the final minute of play. "This was a tale of two
halves," said Coach Lawson. "We played strong in the first half,
but had too many breakdowns in the second. We went away from a
possession-style game and that played right into their hands." |
