10.18.06 - Grace College erased the Foresters (5-10-2, 1-6-1) last hopes for a berth in the MCC Tournament by knocking them off 4-2.  The loss dropped HU to ninth place in the conference standings and eliminated them from postseason play.

The Lancers scored two unanswered goals in the first 12 minutes of play and were never threatened after that.  Four minutes into the second half, they added another to push their lead to 3-0.  Joel Sanders finally got HU on the board 53rd minute, but Grace regained the three-goal advantage with another score midway through the half.  The Foresters found the back of the net one last time when Marc William put it in with an assist from Anthony Burkhart with eight minutes to go, but the 4-2 margin was as close as they would get.

"We played soft the first 45 minutes and Grace took advantage of their chances," said Coach Lawson.  "This is a terrible disappointment and one that is going to sting for awhile."
