09.23.06 - The Indiana Wesleyan Wildcats (8-0-1. 2-0), ranked fourth in NAIA Region VIII, toppled the Foresters (3-5-1, 0-1) 2-1 to remain unbeaten on their season.

IWU got on the board six minutes into the match, but the Foresters were able to keep them at bay the remainder of the half.  HU got the equalizer 10 minutes into the second half when Brad Kunze scored on a header from Joel Sanders' corner kick.  A defensive miscue on a Wildcat corner kick led to the game-winner for IWU with 11 minutes to play.

"We played with a greater sense of urgency, but IWU is a quality team that deserves its ranking," said Coach Lawson.  "We were able to get numbers forward, but we just weren't able to finish."

The Wildcats recorded 14 shots on goal to just seven for HU and Forester keeper, Kevin Keske had 15 saves in the match.
