09.04.06 - In an exciting end-to-end match, the Foresters (2-2) came up short with a 2-1 loss to the Indiana Tech Warriors.

HU dominated play in the first half generating multiple scoring opportunities inside the box and took the lead with a goal 15 minutes into the half.  Joel Sanders lofted a corner kick toward goal and Brad Kunze headed it home to give the Foresters the lead.  The Warriors got the equalizer 15 minutes later and the teams headed to the break tied at 1-1.

The Warriors then took advantage of a HU defensive miscue and grabbed a 2-1 lead ten minutes into the second half.  The Foresters battled but could not capitalize in the final 35 minutes of play.

"We lost our defensive shape in the second half and Indiana Tech was able to capitalize," said Coach Lawson.  "We must put away our chances, we are definitely better than what we showed tonight."

HU generated 10 shots on goal to just six for the Warriors and HU keeper Kevin Keske had four saves.
