| 09.08.06 - The
Foresters (3-2) got their second shutout of the season with a 3-0 win
over Rochester College. Joel Sanders, who has scored at least
one goal or recorded an assist in four of HU's five matches, got the
Foresters on the board when he netted a flick from Brad Kunze in the
25th minute of play. Kyle Brohm
made it a 2-0 game with he powered in a loose ball in the box with
just under 10 minutes left in the first half. James Holliday
completed the scoring for HU and put the game out of Rochester's reach
as he slipped the ball past the keeper off a clever pass from Harrison
Tash.
"This was an excellent day of soccer,"
said Coach Lawson. "We increased our possession in the mid, our
strikers were aggressive in taking on defenders in the box, and we had
freshmen step up and put two in the back of the net."
