- Huntington University soccer coach Russ
Lawson is pleased to announce that Toledo Christian’s Alec Roush has
decided to continue his collegiate career as a Forester. During his
high school career, Roush helped the team capture two conference
titles, while earning a spot on the Toledo Area Athletic Conference
Honorable Mention All-Conference team. Toledo Christian also earned
two District titles in Ohio’s State playoffs during Roush’s four
years. “Alec is
a left midfielder who is coming off a solid senior season where he
amassed four goals and eleven assists” says Lawson. “He has great
vision and looks to get his teammates involved. When you combine
that with his intensity and grit, I know we are receiving a player
who has the potential to fight through adversity and make a great
impact as a student-athlete here at HU.”
Huntington University is
a member of the Mid Central Conference (MCC) and the National
Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA).
Alec is the son of
Kenneth and Elinor Roush from Toledo, OH |
