10.11.07 - Steve McKay put the Foresters' first goal in at the 10:15 mark and the floodgates opened.  HU scored six more times in the first half and finished with a 10-0 rout of Taylor University Fort Wayne.

After McKay's score, the Foresters turned up the heat and netted four more goals in a nine minute span beginning with Marc William scoring off a pass from Brad Kunze 13 minutes into the half.  Eric Bjorndal set up Joel Sanders 60 seconds later to make it 3-0.  McKay then found the back of the net at the 20:00 and 22:00 minute marks off two assists from Sanders to record his second hat trick of the season. Six minutes later William put in his second goal off an assist from Andrew Wust and then Wust closed out the half with a score from an assist by Abe Janson.

Late in the second period, Taylor Zeman dished out back-to-back assists to Janson and Tyler Gleason and in the 81st minute, Kyle Brohm made it 10-0 off a pass from Jason Metzger.

"I was pleased with their preparation and focus leading up to the game and it quickly showed as we controlled the game from the start," said Coach Lawson.

With the win, HU again pulls its record even at 7-7 on the year.
