10.20.07 - A Grace College goal in the final minute of regulation dashed the Foresters' last hopes for a berth in the MCC Tournament.  The goal broke a 1-1 tie and the victory locked the Lancers into the final playoff spot for the postseason tournament.

Grace’s first goal came at the 6:28 mark off a restart.  The ball bounced off HU’s wall and deflected over the keeper and under the bar to give the Lancers the 1-0 lead.

Midway through the first half, the Foresters were able to even the match. Brad Kunze played a beautiful pass through Grace's defense that sent Steven McKay on a break away. McKay slotted the ball past the Lancer keeper to tie the game before half.

The second half went scoreless until the final minute when Grace sent home a loose ball off a corner kick. HU’s keeper Matt Boyer, who kept the Foresters in the match with a couple of fantastic saves midway through the second half, was only able to get his fingertips to the shot.

Both teams generated 10 shots on goal in the evenly played match.  Boyer finished with eight saves in the contest for HU.

The loss drops the Foresters to 8-9 on the year and 0-7 in the MCC.
