10.23.07 - The Foresters had one final try to get one in the win column in conference play, but came up short with a 2-1 loss to Bethel College in their season finale.

The Pilots scored in the sixth minute to take the early lead and then made it 2-0 with another goal at the 37:29 mark.  HU got one back in the final five minutes of the first half when Steven McKay put in a rebound off an Andrew Wust shot.

In the second half, the Foresters generated several scoring opportunities, but just couldn't come up with the equalizer.

“We had our moments today and I was especially pleased with our effort in the second half,” said Coach Lawson. "We  showed well, broke them down and were able to get in behind."

The loss ends the Foresters' season with an 8-10 record for the year.
