10.21.08 - The Foresters put together their highest offensive output of the season to earn the 5-3 victory over Holy Cross College.

HU (5-10-2) scored early and often to take what looked like a commanding 3-0 lead 26 minutes into the match.  Marvin Martinez fed Steven Roberts for the Foresters' first score at the 12 minute mark.  Adam Mc Laughlin followed that up with a goal in the 21st minute and Taylor Zeman found Roberts who netted his second goal 26 minutes into the contest. The Saints then turned the game into a shootout.

Holy Cross got one back at the 29 minute mark and pulled within one with eight minutes left in the half to make it 3-2 at the break.

Fifteen minutes into the second half, the Saints got the equalizer, but eight minutes later HU put together a successful combination play to recapture the lead.  James Holliday hit Steven Roberts on the run who then assisted Dustin Shafer for the score.  Brad Kunze then put the game away in the 78th minute with a goal off a restart.

The Foresters outshot Holy Cross 18-14.  Matt Boyer got the win in goal for HU.  He recorded seven saves in the match.
