- The men's tennis started off the weekend being shut out 9-0 by Olivet
Nazarene University. Things didn't improve much when Taylor University
came to town as the Trojans also blanked the Foresters 9-0. Against ONU,
Tyler Moore played the only three-set match on the day at #1 singles, falling
4-6, 6-2, 6-7 (10-8). HC was only able to win eight more games in the
remaining five singles combined. On Saturday, the Trojans dominated at
every position, winning all six singles in straight sets. In doubles,
Mitchell McDonald and Brian Lambright gave Taylor the best match, falling 8-6
at #2 doubles. The two losses drop the men to 0-3 on the season and 0-2
in the MCC. |
