After dropping two of
three doubles matches, the Foresters rebounded with a sweep of the
singles to top Franklin College 7-2.
Mitchell McDonald and
Daron Short were both double winners in the match. They teamed for
the 8-2 win at #2 doubles and then McDonald was a 6-2, 7-5 winner at
#2 singles and Short got the 6-3, 6-4 victory at #3. Other singles’
winners included Tyler Moore (6-1, 6-2) at #1, Dustin Ecker (6-4, 4-6,
6-0) at #4, Brian Lambright (6-0, 6-3) at #5 and Adam Widener (6-0,
6-0) at #6.
With the win, the men improve to 4-7 on the season. |
