10.13.07 - After finishing the regular season in a tie for sixth place, the Foresters placed seventh in the MCC Tournament.

Taylor took the team title with a score of 18 followed by Indiana Wesleyan (12), Marian (11), Goshen (8), Spring Arbor (7), Bethel (4), HU (3) and Grace (0).

Tyler Moore's run at the singles' championship came up just short as he lost in the finals 7-5, 6-1 to Taylor's Felipe Bedon at #1. Moore defeated Bethel's Kieko Cortez 3-6, 7-5, 6-2 in the first round and downed Indiana Wesleyan's Matt Petersen 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 to reach the finals.

Gonzalo Vivas was the only other Forester to advance to the semi-final round playing #2 singles.  He defeated Grace's Jason Sells 6-1, 6-1 and then lost to Goshen's Sasha Sabanathan 6-3, 7-5.

Both Moore and Vivas earned MCC All-Conference honors for their performance through the season.

In other singles' matches, Mitchell McDonald lost 6-3, 6-0 to Taylor's Dave Smith. Adam Widener fell 6-1, 1-6, 6-4 to Drew Dawkins (IWU). James Makula succumbed 6-0, 6-1 to Bryce Perkins (Taylor) and Keaton McDonald lost to Marian's Alex Bienz (no score provided).

At #1 doubles, Moore and Mitchell McDonald fell 8-4 to Cortez and Shriner (Bethel). Vivas and Widener went down 8-5 to Burmicky and Miller (Taylor) at #2 and at #3, Makula and Keaton McDonald were knocked out by Spring Arbor's Miles and Clark 9-7.
