critical points in doubles play gone in the Foresters’ favor, HU may
have been able to gain some momentum for singles, but instead Spring
Arbor won the big points and easily disposed of the Foresters 8-1.
Gonzalo Vivas was the lone winner for the Foresters, defeating Jordan
Hoy 6-4, 6-4 at #2 singles.
“Spring Arbor is a
very talented team, but we didn’t make very good decisions sometimes
today,” said Coach Turner. “I did see some positives and Gonzalo did
a fantastic job against one of the best players in the MCC.”
The loss drops the Foresters to 2-2 on the season and 1-1 in the
conference. |
