01.22.08 - Huntington University men’s tennis coach Gary Turner has announced that North Pointe Christian High School senior Paul Hageman has signed a letter of intent to join the Forester program this fall.

Hageman finished his career at North Pointe Christian with a singles record of 92-38, including an impressive 29-3 record during his junior campaign.  He was a Regional Champion in the Michigan High School Athletic Association in each of his first three years in addition to winning 10 regular season tournaments throughout his career.  He helped lead North Pointe Christian to a Division 4 State title during his sophomore season and a runner-up finish his junior year.

“Paul will be a great asset to our program," said Coach Turner. "He is a solid player with a tremendous work ethic.  His drive and determination will allow him to have a great career at HU.”

Huntington University is a Christian liberal arts college located in Huntington, IN with an enrollment of approximately 1000 students.  Athletically, HU competes in fourteen NAIA intercollegiate sports for both men and women and is a member of the Mid-Central Conference.
