- The Foresters made it look easy sweeping the Spartans 9-0 in non-conference
action last night.
The Foresters started things off by dominating doubles play.
The Vivas brother (Gonzalo and Martin) were 8-2 winners at #1.
Jameel and Jon Brenneman also made quick work of their opponents
with a 8-0 win at #2. Rounding out doubles action was Keaton
McDonald and Paul Hageman cruising to a 8-2 win at #3.
HU carried their momentum into singles action where the Foresters
beat the Spartans in straight sets. Gonzalo had no trouble at
#1 recording the 6-0, 6-1 victory. Martin won at #2, 6-4, 6-3. Jameel (#3) and Jon (#4) recorded the easy wins 6-1, 6-2 and 6-0,
6-0 respectively. McDonald cruised to a 6-1, 6-1 win at #5 and
Hageman had no trouble at #6 winning 6-1, 6-0.
The men improve to 2-3 on the season. |
