2009-10 Season Outlook

The men’s tennis team is looking to pick up where they left off a year ago.  They open the 2009 season with everyone returning from last year's squad. Senior Gonzalo Vivas, a two time MCC All-Conference selection, will once again lead the way for the Foresters. Joining Gonzalo are sophomore standouts Martin Vivas, Jameel Brenneman and Jonathan Brenneman. The Vivas brothers will look to defend their 2008 MCC Doubles Championship. 

Rounding out the roster are senior; Matt Cable, a pair of juniors; Keaton McDonald and Jeff Hart and sophomore; Paul Hageman.  With a year of experience under their belts, look for this talented group of players to make some noise in the MCC. 

“I'm very excited about the fall tennis schedule,” said Coach Ferguson.  “Our men's team is intact from last year with the MCC Doubles Champions, Gonzalo and Martin Vivas.  All of the men on our roster have playing experience and should compete well.”
