03.24.05 The Foresters headed south for spring break and got things started with a 3-2 win in their first game against Shawnee State University.  Kendra Stahl earned the complete-game victory for the Foresters.  She gave up two runs on five hits and four walks, while striking out seven.  Kaley Fode led HC's offense with two hits and two RBI.   Unfortunately, that was where the winning ended.  The Foresters dropped their final seven games on the trip.

In game two of the Shawnee State doubleheader, Ashley Keen threw a one-hit shutout against HC to earn the split.  On Tuesday, the Foresters fell by identical 8-0 scores in a doubleheader against Union University, and on Wednesday, HC was swept by the University of West Florida 11-0 and 4-1.  In their final doubleheader of the week, the Foresters went down twice to Olivet Nazarene University, losing game one 8-0 and game two 10-2.  The women return home with a 1-11 record on the season.
