03.29.05 The St. Francis Cougars used two seventh inning rallies to pick up the sweep 9-5 and 5-1 over the Foresters in MCC action.  In game one, the Cougars held a slim 5-4 advantage heading into their final at-bat, where they pushed across four more runs to put the game out of reach.  HC got one back in the bottom of the seventh, but the rally stopped there.  Liz Rapone was the pitcher of record in the loss for HC.  She came on in relief when starting pitcher, Kendra Stahl, was knocked out of the game by a line drive to her knee.  Three Foresters, Adrienne Bender, Dana Sellers, and April Snider each had two hits in the game.

In the nightcap, the Foresters took a 1-0 lead in their first at-bat, but St. Francis answered back with one in the top of the second.  The Cougars added another run in the top of the fourth and again put the game away with three runs in their last at-bat. Renae Schortgen pitched six strong innings for HC, but took the loss.  With the losses, the Foresters fall to 1-13 on the season and 0-4 in the MCC.
