04.16.05 Kendra Stahl helped the Foresters get a split with Bluffton College by pitching a complete-game three-hit shutout in game two of the doubleheader for a 7-0 win after the team fell 6-3 in the opening game.  Stahl got some help from the offense which tallied eights hits in the game.  Kaley Fode had two hits and Liz Rapone had a double and four RBI to lead HC.  Adrienne Bender, Emily Burkholder, and Kala Parthemore each had a double in the game as well.

In the opening game, HC fought back from a 3-1 deficit to tie at 3-3 on a two-run home run by Rapone in the sixth. But as has been the case too often this season for the Foresters, late inning miscues once again led to their demise.  HC had two costly mistakes in the bottom of the sixth to give the Beavers three runs and the lead for good.  For the game, Bender had a pair of hits with an RBI and Burkholder added two more including a double.  Rapone took the loss for the Foresters.

The women now stand at 6-21 on the season.
