Spring Arbor
University took both games of a MCC doubleheader from the Foresters
winning 8-4 and 5-1. In game one, Kaley Fode and Emily
Burkholder each had a double and 2 RBI to lead HC at the plate.
Fode added a single as well and Kendra Stahl chipped in two hits.
Burkholder was the pitcher of record in the loss.
In the nightcap, Stahl banged out her sixth triple of the season and
scored the Foresters' lone run on a sacrifice fly by Dana Sellers.
Burkholder continued to swing a hot bat with two more hits in the
game. Renae Schortgen took the loss for HC.
The women fall to 6-23 on the season. |
