04.13.07 - Huntington University sophomore Lauren Ward threw a perfect game in a 9-0 mercy rule-shortened game over Rochester College. Ward struck out six of the 15 batters she faced in the five inning game.

The Foresters (10-11) did all of their damage in the third, scoring all nine runs in one inning.  Kendra Stahl and Stacy Socha both had two hits and a RBI to lead HU's offense.

The Foresters won game two by the same 9-0 score.  Kendra Stahl and Ashley Scally combined for the one-hit shutout with Stahl going three innings to pick up the win.

HU scored four runs in both the first and second innings and then added one more in the fourth to finish off the Warriors.  After throwing a perfect game in the opener, Ward added a perfect 3-3 performance at the plate with a run scored and four RBI.  Brittany Gower and Socha each had two hits and two runs scored.
