04.03.07 - In a Mid-Central Conference match-up, Bethel College used solid pitching and took advantage of HU's miscues to sweep the Foresters 2-1 and 7-1.

In game one, Bethel pitcher, Brittney Hire, got a two-run cushion in the first inning thanks to some costly HU errors and she made it stick.  The Foresters (6-11, 1-3) managed just three hits in the game, but did generate a rally attempt in the seventh that fell short.  Lauren Ward only allowed the Pilots three hits as well, but the two unearned runs HU gave up in the first proved to be all Bethel needed for the win.

Errors proved to be costly in the second game for HU as well.  The Foresters took an early 1-0 lead with a run in their first at-bat, but the offense ended there.  Bethel tied it in the second then scored six more times in their final three at-bats.  Only four of the runs were earned as HU committed three errors in the contest.  Ashley Scally took the loss for the Foresters.  She only gave up four hits, but walked nine batters while striking out two in seven innings.  Five different players had one hit for HU.
