04.08.06 - Competing against colleges of all levels from across Indiana at the Indiana Intercollegiate Little State Championships, the Forester teams both earned 13th place finishes.

The University of Indianapolis swept both titles winning the women's event with a score of 185.25 and winning the men's with 126 points.  HU's women scored 25.50 points and the men finished with 18.

Lucas Beach and Joel Sanders brought home all of the men's points for HU.  Beach qualified for NAIA Outdoor Track Nationals with his winning mark of 51' 1.75" in the shot put and Sanders took second in the 800 meter run with a time of 1:56.43.  Brittany Fillman was the top finisher on the women's side with her second place in the 400 meter run with a time of 1:00.13.  Katie Crandall placed in three events and ran a leg of the 4x400 relay that finished fourth in 4:08.84.  She also was fourth in the high jump clearing 5' 1.75" in her best jump.  She was fifth in the 400 hurdles with a time of 1:07.64 and she finished eighth in the 100 hurdles in 16.80.  Heidi Christner also scored for the Foresters with her sixth place finish in the javelin with a mark of 105' 8".
