05.31.06 The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced its awards for the 2006 season and Huntington University junior, Brittany Fillman, was among the honorees. 

Fillman, an English Education major from Markle, Indiana (Norwell High School) received NAIA All-America Scholar-Athlete honors for the first time in her career.  All recipients of the award are either a junior or senior academically, carry above a 3.5 cumulative grade point average, and excel as a track athlete. This season, Fillman repeated as the MCC Conference's individual champion in the 400 and earned All-Conference honors for the second time.
