02.09.07 - The Forester track teams competed at the Ohio Northern University Friday Night Series and came away with a first place finish for the women and a fourth place finish for the men.

Six individuals and two relays teams won a total of nine events for the women on their way to the team title.  HU scored 179 points for the win followed by Wheeling Jesuit  (166), Albion (107), Ohio Northern (93), Defiance (73 and Bluffton (15).

Bethany McGraw grabbed two firsts in the 200 meter dash (28.48) and the triple jump (9.98 m).  Katie Crandall ran a 9.35 in the 55 meter hurdles to take first.  Brittany Fillman was a winner in the 400 meter dash with her time of 1:03.35.  Michelle Kyler took the 500 meter dash in 1:26.70.  Jill Roughia finished the 800 meter run in 2:29.83 for the win.  Emily Holliday legged out the mile in 5:36.78 to earn a first place finish and both the 4x200 and distance medley relay teams took first to round out the list of winners for the women.

On the men's side, four Foresters turned in top finishes.  Cody Hannie won the 1000 meter run with his time of 2:41.29.  Joel Sanders crossed the line in 4:28.77 to win the mile. Joseph Njeri was the 5000 meter winner in 15:41.52 and Lucas Beach had a toss of 15.96 m to win the shot put event.  The Foresters' final first came from the distance medley relay team with their winning time of 11:26.66.

Albion won the men's team title with a score of 206 followed by Wheeling Jesuit (198), Ohio Northern (128), Huntington (113), Defiance (31) and Bluffton (14).
