05.31.07 - The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) announced its spring sport post-season awards for 2007.  Five Forester women from two sports were selected as Daktronics-NAIA All-America Scholar-Athletes.  

HU tennis team members, Jessica Deter (Bluffton, OH, Bluffton HS) and Katie Sprunger (Berne, IN, South Adams HS) and track team members Jessah Brumbaugh (Huntington, IN, Bellmont HS), Heidi Christner (Shipshewana, IN, Westview HS) and Brittany Fillman (Markle, IN, Norwell HS) were among the list of honorees. Recipients of the award must have at least a junior academic standing and a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.5.
