weekend for Foresters
5/25 - Vohs, 4x800 finish fifth at nationals
The
women's 4x800 relay did something no other women's Forester relay team has
ever done - they became All-Americans in school record fashion. Aimee
Sullivan, Danielle Vohs, Jenny Cook and Erin Abbey ran a 9:20.72 in the
finals of the 4x800 at the NAIA Track and Field National Championships,
placing fifth for the All-American title. One day later, Danielle Vohs
picked up another All-American honor in her race of the 1500-meters. Read

weather conditions delay Foresters' events at National Championships
5/24 - Vohs to run 1500 final on Saturday
The
NAIA National Championships got underway on Thursday, May 23. Danielle Vohs'
1500-meter prelim race was canceled and moved to just a final, set for
Saturday at 1:40 p.m. On Thursday, Erin Abbey was scheduled to long jump and
the 4x800 relay was set to run their prelim race. Due to hazardous weather
conditions, the meet and the Foresters' Thursday schedule of events were
postponed as of 4 p.m. The original schedule of events has been altered to

Relay bound for Nationals
5/21 - Vohs, Abbey compete individually
The
women's 4x800 relay consisting of Danielle Vohs, Aimee Sullivan, Jenny
Cook and Erin Abbey began their journey to Olathe, Kansas, today. The
relay is ranked ninth going into the NAIA National Track and Field
Championships, being held May 23-25. Vohs and Abbey will also compete in

Five
compete at Butler Qualifier
5/11 - Five
Foresters competed at the Butler qualifier on May 11, in Indianapolis. Erin
Abbey led the pack, placing third in the long jump and fifth in the 400
hurdles. Three members of the women's 4x800 relay ran the open 800 in
preparation for NAIA nationals, and Jonathan Doyle competed in the 400

breaks two school records
5/4 - Danielle
Vohs broke two of her own school records on Saturday, May 4 at the Butler
Twilight.Vohs ran a 2:14.46 in the 800 for fifth place, breaking her record
of 2:16.64 set in 2000. She also ran the 1500 in 4:36.95 to win the event
and break her record for the third time this season. The previous record
of 4:40.27 was set at Indiana Little State on April 13. Read

4/26-27
- The
Forester women's and men's track squads finished third and sixth,
respectively, at the Mid-Central Conference Track and Field Championships on
April 26-27. Garnering All-Conference honors for HC were Erin Abbey,

and Women win at Earlham Invitational
4/20 -Both
the Forester men and women track teams won at the Earlham Invitational on
Saturday, April 20 at Earlham College. The men finished with 213 points
and the women with 135. Both teams competed very strong as they finished
out their regular season and move into the MCC Championships this weekend.

IWU Triangular
4/18 - The men won the Indiana Wesleyan
Triangular on Thursday,
April 18, at Indiana Wesleyan University. The Foresters competed strong
were able to outscore their opponents in most events. The women also
showed strong performances in many areas but weren't able to outscore the
IWU Wildcats. The Foresters as a team proved they were ready to compete
and will be strong next week at the MCC Conference meet. Read

finish third at 97th annual Little State Meet
4/13 - The Forester women finished third on Saturday, April 13 at
the 97th annual Little State Championships. The women were led by
especially strong performances from Danielle Vohs in the 1500 and 800 and Erin Abbey in the long jump and 400 hurdles. The men were
led by a third-place finish from Jared Neale in the 800. Read

shatters women's longest-standing school record
4/6 - In
only the second time running the event in her collegiate career, Danielle
Vohs shattered the 1500 meter school record in a dominating fashion at the

Jenny Cook
places first at Emory Classic
3/29-30 - Jenny Cook won the 1500 meter run, beating her
best time by 16 seconds. Cook was the only Forester to win an event at the
meet, which ended up being canceled due to poor weather. Read

finish second at Dick Small Invite
3/23 - Battling
through wind gusts of up to 25 miles per hour throughout the day, the
Huntington College women's squad found themselves in a tight race for the

Women named Outstanding Female Team at Wabash Relays
3/16 - The Foresters opened their outdoor season at Wabash on
Saturday, March 16. The women were named Outstanding Female Team for their

Indoor National Results - Day 3
3/2 - Danielle Vohs and John Ngure each finished
third in their respective races to earn NAIA All-American honors. Vohs, a three-time All-American, ran a 3:01.41 in the women's 1000 meter
run. Ngure, a seven-time All-American, took :25 off his qualifying
time to post a 14:29.87 in the men's 5000 meter final. Read

Indoor National Results - Day 2
3/1 - Two Foresters qualified for the finals in
their respective events on Day 2 at the NAIA National Track and Field
Championships in Johnson City, Tennessee. Danielle Vohs posted the third
best time in the women’s 1000 meter preliminaries at 2:59.29, and John
Ngure ran a 14:54.59 in the men's 5000 meter prelims, which earned him a fifth seed in today’s final.

2/28 - On the first day of competition at the Indoor Track and
Field Championships in Johnson City, Tennessee, the Forester women's
distance medley relay took to the track. The relay, consisting of Erin
Abbey, Jenny Cook, Aimee Sullivan, and Danielle Vohs, finished 9th

Foresters wrapped up their indoor season with first and second place
team finishes for the women's and men's teams, respectively. Erin Abbey
continued her dominance with four first place finishes in the long jump, 300
meters, 400 meters, and teamed with Danielle Vohs, Aimee Sullivan and Jenny

2/16 - Aimee Sullivan,
Danielle Vohs, Jonathan Doyle and Rick Hammer each had big days at the
DePauw Invitational, as they ran national qualifying times in their
respective races. The Foresters ended the day in fourth place out of 15
teams in both the men's and women's divisions. Joining Vohs in the win

2/9 - Erin Abbey took three individual firsts at the
Huntington Invitational Saturday in the Merillat Complex Fieldhouse. Her
triple crown came in the long jump, 300 meters and 400 meters. Billy Kurtz

1/25 - Racing
only against time, the women’s distance medley relay set an Ohio
Northern University stadium record in route to an NAIA provisional
qualification time at the Forester’s opening indoor track meet at ONU on
January 25. Both men's and women's squads finished third in team

Huntington College track and field squads open their indoor season on
January 25 at Ohio Northern University. Tom King, who enters his 31st
season at the realm of HC track and field, sees a lot of potential for a
