College held its commencement ceremonies, marking the end of another

Fillman qualifies to nationals
in 800 meters
5/14 - Brittany Fillman ran
her first open 800 meter race of the season at North Central College in
2:18.39, a mark that met the provisional qualification for the NAIA
national championships.

Otterbein
5/8 - Cody Hannie won the 800
meter run in 1:56.08 at the Last Chance Qualifier hosted by Otterbein
College on Saturday. Teammate David St. Louis posted two season-best times
in the 800 and 1500 meter races.

4/3 - Kellie Hanson and
Jonathan Doyle were named the Forester Athletes of the Week for
outstanding performances at the Mid-Central Conference Championships over
the weekend. They each won an individual event and were named to the MCC
All-Conference team.

4/30-5/1 - Three Foresters
earned All-MCC honors at the Mid-Central Conference Championships at
Goshen College over the weekend while four provisional national
qualification marks were met. The Lady Foresters finished fourth overall
while the men were fifth.

4/24 - Jonathan Doyle
qualified to the NAIA National Championships in the 110 high hurdles
Saturday at Olivet Nazarene University. The women finished second at the
meet while the men finished fourth.

4/3 - The men and women's
track teams traveled to Sewanee, Tennessee to compete in the Mt. Laurel
Relays. The men finished third out of 13 teams with 63 points while the
women were sixth with 26 points.

22 - 28, 2004.

Andrews wins 10,000 at Wheaton
Invitational
3/27 - The men and women's track
teams opened the outdoor seasons at the Wheaton Invitational and came away
with ninth (35 points) and eleventh (20.5 points) place finishes,
respectively. David St. Louis posted the best finish for the Forester men
with his third place in the 3000 meter steeplechase, and Molly Andrews won
the 10,000 meters for the women.

men finished second behind Goshen with 39.5 points. The women tallied five
firsts while the men were led by Jonathan Doyle and Jon Pelz. Joseph

Championships in the 3000 meters.

in 1000m
2/14 - Seniors Jenny Grill and Nicole Jacob each ran fast enough
times in the women's 1000 meter run at DePauw to meet the NAIA national
provisional qualification mark. They led the ladies to a 10th-place finish
while the men finished 12th.

Two qualify to nationals at Findlay
1/30-31 - Jonathan Doyle and Cody Hannie both met NAIA provisional
qualification marks for the indoor national championships this past
weekend at the Findlay Classic. Doyle finished sixth in the 55 meter high
hurdles with a time of 8.02 seconds while Hannie placed fifth in the 1000
meter run in a time of 2 minutes, 34.24 seconds.

1/16 - The
men and women's track teams competed at Grand Valley State University on
Friday, January 16 in an non-scored meet. The competition included NCAA
Division II and III schools as well as NAIA institutions.

Jim Arnett
inducted in HC Hall of Fame
11/21 -
Four-time national shot put champion, James Arnett, will be inducted into
the Huntington College Hall of Fame in 2003. Arnett competed for the
Foresters from 1995-1998, earning 14 All-American honors in the shot put,
discus and 35 pound weight.
