 10.29.04 The Foresters hosted their own invitational on the weekend and went 3-1 in the friendly confines of the Merillat Complex to finish second behind Goshen College.  HC opened play Friday night with two convincing wins.  The Foresters downed Concordia College 30-23, 30-20, 30-28 and then made quick work of Robert Morris College dismissing the Eagles 30-20, 30-27, 30-15.  On Saturday, HC split two five-game matches.  In their morning match. the Foresters fell to Goshen College 30-11, 28-30, 30-20, 27-30, 13-15, and in the afternoon, they outlasted Marian College 30-27, 28-30, 30-16, 25-30, 15-10.  Jessica Kendall led the Forester attack with 62 kills in the tournament.  Other statistical leaders for HC included Tiffany Malfait with 14 blocks, Jami Fusselman with 127 assists, Stephanie Stearns with 102 digs, and Kellie Hanson with 8 serving aces. The Foresters now stand at 14-18 on the season.
